Building workflows is now faster and more reliable. Alloy’s new copy/paste functionality enables teams to easily reuse workflow components within and across workflows, and across accounts. 

Portability Across Workflows

With this release, copy/paste is supported across a range of contexts.

You can now:

• Copy/Paste entire workflows or specific nodes (includes upstream logic from the node)
• Paste logic across workflows in the same account
• Paste logic between test and production accounts

Merge Logic: Paste with Confidence

When pasting, Alloy’s system will automatically:

• Merge existing objects with the same name and settings
• Merge thresholds with “or” statements
• Duplicate and append “(1)” for objects with the same name but different logic. You can rename before confirming changes.
• Flag modified and added objects upon paste, allowing users to confirm changes or undo. 

How It Works

1. To copy the entire workflow, use keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C in the editor or navigate to “Copy Workflow” in the ellipses menu.
2. To copy a specific node, select “Copy” from the node’s ellipses menu.
3. Navigate and click into the destination workflow or object.
4. Use Ctrl+V or navigate to “Paste from Clipboard” in the ellipses menu.
5. Review any flagged changes and save.

Building with Alloy’s best practice policy logic is now simpler than ever.

We’re excited to introduce the Policy Library – your new resource for accessing Alloy’s global best practices. For the first time, you can explore and deploy Alloy-curated decisioning logic directly within our Workflow editor. The pre-built, reusable segments of workflows, defined as snippets, can be inserted into any workflow and can range from simple to complex. 

In the Policy Library, you can:

• Browse Alloy-recommended policy logic: Access a growing catalog of pre-built rules and decisioning snippets developed from proven client use cases and vendor-specific Alloy best practices.
• Search and filter efficiently: Quickly search snippets by use case, region, or entity type (business or person) – similar to what’s available when creating workflows today.
• Preview before you apply: View read-only previews of snippets, including all related attributes, tags, and service integrations before setting them live in your workflows.
• Deploy with confidence: Insert a snippet directly into your existing workflows using a guided merge flow that preserves existing logic and flags potential conflicts for easy resolution.

With Alloy’s ongoing investment in reusable logic and shared best practices, the Policy Library makes it easier than ever to build, test, and optimize your risk strategies without starting from scratch. Snippets in the Policy Library will be added on an ongoing basis.

We’ve upgraded the document review experience in Alloy, making it easier to compare, annotate, and decision documents as part of the review process.

Here’s What You Should Know:

• We've launched an updated document panel where you can review, add notes, or rename documents.
• All documents for a given Entity will appear in a thumbnail at the top of the panel for you to easily navigate between and compare side-by-side against other documents without having to take screenshots or downloads needed.

To streamline role management, we've removed autosave from Permissions.  Moving forward, changes to permissions will need to be explicitly saved in order to take effect. 

You can now explore the full catalog of over 250 partner solutions available through Alloy in our new Partner Center. Designed to simplify discovery and evaluation, the Partner Center lets you easily find, compare, and review the latest information on our third-party integrations. It is globally available to all clients and fully integrated into your dashboard experience.

With intuitive search and filter capabilities, you can explore solution partners by category, region, use case, and more, as well as view and manage your active integrations in one centralized place. Individual solution integration pages offer detailed company and product descriptions, access to technical resources like sample API responses, and more.

On the Partner Center homepage you can also filter solutions by featured categories, such as AI/ML functionality and inclusion in Alloy’s new Partner Testing Program, which allows you to test up to 1,000 calls at no additional cost when trialing solutions resold by Alloy for the first time.

View more context on an Evaluation in a new expansion on Rule Explainability with the Workflow Navigator. Users now have the ability to navigate the Workflow in a read-only view and see the Tags, Outcomes, and Rules that have been set for the Evaluation. Through the Navigator, users see context on Services, Inputs, Outputs, Published Attributes, and Matrix Models to help them better understand the Evaluation Rules and Outcomes.

With this release, users are able to:

• Understand the dependencies between Tags, Services, Published Attributes, and other configuration components for a given Evaluation
• View the Workflow outputs that have been set or not set based on the logic
• More effectively troubleshoot an Evaluation by traversing the Workflow and identifying the thresholds that were triggered
• Gain insights into areas of their policies that could be optimized or improved with additional Tags or logic

We’ve made some enhancements to how Data Exports work in the Alloy platform to improve your experience:

• Email delivery for exports: After clicking Export, you’ll now receive an email from [email protected] with a link to download your file. This means you can safely navigate away from the page while your export processes, which is especially helpful for large data files.
• Consistent column ordering: Columns in exported CSV files are now listed alphabetically across all exports for easier analysis and consistency.

After logging in, your dashboard session will redirect to a secure, dashboard-specific vanity domain. The vanity domain is a personalized URL for your organization, using a unique identifier associated with your Alloy dashboard called a customer slug. This customer slug will become the first part of your new URL: https://{customer_slug}.app.alloy.com. This change helps us improve Alloy’s login security and streamline our authentication and architecture.
